More than 35 years of experience for Barolo, always ready for new achievements!
Together with the foundation year 1982, 2014 was decisive for Enoteca Regionale del Barolo: thanks to the European funding FESR-POR Piemonte 2007-2013 and to the voluntary co-financing of our Producers, we transform the old space in a more current and technological environment. A courageous change, as someone noticed, but necessary to respond to the demands of our visitors, more and more attentive and demanding.

When was it formed?
The Enoteca Regionale del Barolo was established by Public Act on 14th May 1982 on the proposal of the Administration of the Barolo Municipality and with the patronage of Piedmont Region. The Association follows the “Enoteca del vino Barolo”, which was founded and has carried out its activities in the Castle of Barolo, starting from 5th September 1971, on the initiative of the producers and the Barolo Municipality.
What are the goals to achieve?
The Enoteca Regionale del Barolo presents to the public the Barolo wine, realizing the general overview of the production.
It has the aim to promote the knowledge and the consumption of wines from our land, also in relation to the right and suitable pairings with the typical, local food.

Where is the seat?

It’s located in the Marchional cellars of the Barolo Castle, where from September 2010 was the Wi.Mu., Wine Museum, also inaugurated
Why was the Enoteca born?
To represent the whole Barolo region and the wineries, that have the title to carry out the winemaking and ageing operations as arranged by the relevant articles of the production specification of the wine D.O.C.G. Barolo
