What is it?
Representing Barolo
The Official Selection of the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo is a numbered match of 800 bottles and 24 magnums, which every year is selected by the Technical Tasting Commission with blind tasting and then be “sealed” with an anonymous cap and “dressed” from an artistic label.
In other words, it’s the most representative Barolo of the year, chosen not to publicize its wine maker (which must remain strictly anonymous), but to be used as an institutional bottle in the events and manifestations of the Enoteca.
